About us

Kovai Baptist Church for the deaf was started in the year 2003 by Pastor Daniel Mani. With limited provisions initially, we gathered at a local member's house for worship service every sunday. With God's Grace Pastor Daniel Mani was able to buy a property and build a permanent Church building in the year 2007 registered under Kovai Baptist Mission for the deaf. There are no deaf Baptist Churches in our locality and hence Kovai Baptist Church is the only independent baptist church for the deaf in the whole state of Tamilnadu. After establishing our Church we also have a Christian school for the deaf, providing education with quality standards equal to normal english medium schools across India. Teaching the Word of God is our primary goal. We have also translated the Gospel books in five different languages. Our church also encourages Camps, Conferences, Revival Services and Training programs with Bible courses for today's young generation.
